Praise

God for the gift of His Only Son, Jesus, who came to us the first Christmas and as we celebrate His coming for all people on Epiphany.
-
God for those who heard the Good News of Jesus shared at Summer Training, weekends and outreach events.
-
God for 3 New Years Gatherings held in Enid, OK; Ogallala, NE; & Stevensville, MI and For safe travel & favorable weather for the New Years Gathering participants.
-
God for outreach weekends conducted in 2008 & scheduled for 2009.
-
Thank God for the resources of leaders, youth, materials, and host churches that support this ministry.
-
God for meeting the needs of OAFC.

That God would guide OAFC Staff:

Pastor Dan Smith the part-time Executive Director of OAFC & full-time pastor of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Galesburg, IL
-
Mr. Dan Barz, full-time Assistant to the Executive Director (Director of Operations) His father, Rev. Marvin Barz, was briefly hospitalized last week, but is now home & doing well.
-
Pastor Erwin Ruhlig, volunteer Business Manager - who is again undergoing chemotherapy.
-
Dorothy Ruppert, volunteer Treasurer

For God's guidance on the January 8-10 OAFC Board Meeting in New Minden, IL.

That Ambassadors might simply and boldly share Jesus with those in their schools & communities.

That God will provide willing hosts for 2009 weekends for all OAFC groups around the country.

That God will provide for all the needs of the future OAFC weekends scheduled:
- Jan 16-18 Zion - Scotia, NE
- Jan 23-25 Our Redeemer - Quincy IL
-
For the Holy Spirit working through the Good News shared at New Years Gatherings

For the resources needed for the Ministry and Growth of OAFC and that we use these resources to His glory.

That OAFC might grow in sharing the Good News of Jesus with many and in training many more to share that Good News.

That God will provide:

More Area Leaders for OAFC - both for new starts and for current groups.

Youth to join OAFC

Churches to host OAFC

Ambassadors sharing Jesus in other lands
