The ministry of Ongoing Ambassadors For Christ is financially supported through gifts from individuals and groups; including friends of OAFC, parents & friends of Ambassadors, and organizations & congregations where Ambassadors serve.

Your financial gift will be much appreciated to assist expanding His Kingdom in many ways...A partial list is:

• Printed materials & support for groups to lead weekends

• Annual Summer Training & New Years Events

• Scheduling and supporting Travel Teams

• Providing promotional materials (printed page, web, mailings, and other correspondence)

• Supporting one full time staff person

• Stipend and expenses for Executive Director

• Providing benefits for volunteer business manager

• Office and storage of materials

• Phone, fax, hardware and software

• Vehicles and maintenance

OAFC is eligible for matching funds through Thrivent’s Giving Plus® Program. Click on this link for more information on the program, or click GivingPlus® Gift Form  for the pdf form that you mail  to our OAFC office with your financial gift. (for the most recent blank form click there) The form is editable within the free acrobat reader software program. We will fill in our part of the form and forward to Thrivent.

Any individual Thrivent Benefit member 16 or older that gives a financial gift to OAFC, Thrivent will match the gift at $1 for every $2 up to $300. That is, a $600 gift + $300 Thrivent match will net $900 to OAFC. There is no minimum gift amount, and the maximum gift can be made in smaller amounts throughout the year.

If you give through Giving Plus®, and contribute 25 hours volunteering for OAFC, Thrivent will contribute an additional $25. Just mark the Volunteer hour bubble when you fill out the form.

You can also contribute to OAFC using your credit card.

• We thank Lutheran Congregations for hosting OAFC weekends, where members provide meals and housing for the Ambassadors.

• We also thank them for the door offerings presented during our outreach weekends for the work of OAFC.

Lutheran Congregations are invited to include OAFC in its mission/outreach budget. Individuals are encouraged to seek hosting a future weekend. Send email to info@oafc.org or call/write us.
